OPEN POSITION:             Gifted Teacher - ELEMENTARY           

 

START DATE:                   2026-2027 School Year

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION:     

To design and implement a flexible, differentiated instructional program that meets the advanced academic and social-emotional needs of gifted learners; to create a classroom environment that fosters inquiry, creativity, and intellectual risk-taking; to establish strong, supportive relationships with students; and to inspire learners to think critically, pursue depth and complexity, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways so that each student demonstrates continuous growth.

 

This is a 0.6 position - 3 days a week

• Part-time - Retirement eligible

 

QUALIFICATIONS:           

• Valid Missouri Gifted Education K-12 Certificate 
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in major area of study
• Effective oral and written communication skills
