JOB SUMMARY: 

         

The Department Head leads collaborative team efforts to improve student achievement, strengthen instructional practices, and build collective efficacy in support of district goals. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the implementation of curriculum, assessment, and instructional best practices across the department
• Facilitating team collaboration through regular meetings focused on data analysis, student growth, and instructional planning
• Serving as a liaison between administration and department staff to ensure clear communication and alignment
• Fostering a positive, collaborative team culture centered on continuous improvement
• Mentoring and supporting team members to enhance professional growth and instructional effectiveness

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Hold a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate.
