PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Director of Assessment and Programming is a key leadership role within the district, responsible for overseeing and managing several essential services, including Federal Programs, Gifted Education, Latchkey, English Language Learner (ELL) programs, and Registrar services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that district programs are aligned with educational standards and effectively meet the needs of students. The Director provides strategic direction and leadership to ensure the continuous improvement and success of these programs, collaborating with district leadership, educators, and other stakeholders to promote academic excellence.
The Director will oversee the coordination of assessments and the development of data-driven strategies to enhance academic performance, ensuring the district's compliance with both state and federal guidelines. This position is central to shaping the district's academic programs and will work to drive improvements based on data analysis, assessment outcomes, and feedback from educational stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree required; Specialist or higher degree preferred.
- Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate.
- Valid Missouri Administrative Certificate.
- A minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Three to five years of successful administrative experience in an educational setting.
- Experience in managing and overseeing district-wide programs, such as Gifted Education, Latchkey, English Language Learner (ELL) programs, and Registrar services, is highly desirable.
