OPEN POSITIONS:           2024 Summer School Teacher – Secondary – Credit Recovery

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

 

 
COURSE DESCRIPTION:     

 

A student can recover credit for a course or courses that have been failed at the high school level.  These units are determined by the results of a pre-assessment given at the beginning of the course.  Students who complete the necessary credit recovery units prior to the end of the program, could be released for the remainder of the credit recovery program. Once the credit recovery is complete, students who have chosen to enroll in credit advancement will remain at school to attend during the time frame of the second class. 

 

• Algebra 1 (Semester 1 and 2)
• Geometry (Semester 1 and 2)
• Integrated Algebra (Semester 1 and 2)
• Algebra 2 (Semester 1 and 2) - LAUNCH/SEATED
• American Government (Semester 1 and 2)
• American History (Semester 1 and 2)
• World History-Western Civ (Semester 1 and 2)
• Physical Science (Semester 1 and 2)
• Biology (Semester 1 and 2)
• English 1 (Semester 1 and 2)
• English 2 (Semester 1 and 2)
• English 3 (Semester 1 and 2)
• English 4 (Semester 1 and 2)

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Missouri State Teacher Certification in – any secondary certificate
• Teaching experience
  
  

• All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
• All positions will be using the time clock.
• Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Friday, May 31st
