OPEN POSITIONS:           2024 Summer School Teacher – Secondary – Creative Writing

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

 

 
COURSE DESCRIPTION:     

 

Students will generate major independent writing projects in addition to daily writing exercises in poetry and prose, including emphases in characterization, dialogue, and formal verse.  Evaluation of peer and published writing is another component of this course.  NOTE:  This course does not replace a Core ELA requirement) This course will give students the opportunity to earn a .5 unit of english credit.

                                     
QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Missouri State Teacher Certification in – English
• Teaching experience
  
  

• All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
• All positions will be using the time clock. 

Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Friday, May 31st
