OPEN POSITION: SAFETY AND SECURITY COORDINATOR
START DATE: 2025-2026 school year
STARTING SALARY: $51,418
TERMS of EMPLOYMENT: 12 month - 240 Day Contract
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Safety & Security Coordinator is responsible for implementing, coordinating, and maintaining the district's safety and security supports and services. This includes conducting safety audits, developing loss prevention programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing resources to staff and stakeholders. The coordinator plays a key role in mitigating risks, responding to crisis situations, and ensuring that safety procedures and emergency management programs are in place to protect students, staff, and district property.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement, Business Management, or job-related field required.
- Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is preferred, with a focus on safety management, emergency preparedness, or risk management in a school district or similar setting.
- Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred.
