OPEN POSITION:             Special Education Teacher – ED Room

START DATE:                   Immediate

PRIMARY FUNCTION:       This position provides instruction, assessment and program planning for emotionally disturbed special education students; monitoring and evaluating student progress and behavior; researching, obtaining and providing instructional materials for special education services in a positive, flexible class environment to motivate students.

QUALIFICATIONS:           

• Valid Special Education Missouri Teaching Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in major area of study
• Effective oral and written communication skills
