OPEN POSITIONS:           2024 Summer School ACT Prep Teacher – Secondary English

START DATE:                    2024 Summer School

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

 
COURSE DESCRIPTION:     

The course is designed to help familiarize students with the format of the ACT college entrance exam and test taking strategies. The four sections of the test will be the basis of study; consequently, students will review, practice, and be tested on a variety of skills and concepts contained in the ACT. The class is best taken during the junior year. This course will give students the opportunity to earn a .5 unit of elective credit.

                                     
QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Missouri State Teacher Certification in any secondary content area
• Teaching experience
  
• All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
• All positions will be using the time clock. 
• Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Friday, May 31st
