OPEN POSITIONS:           2024 Summer School Teacher – Secondary - Personal Finance

START DATE:                    2024 Summer School

POSITION SALARY:          $28.00/hour (Teachers who sign up for and complete ALL 20 days will be paid $29.00/hour)

 
COURSE DESCRIPTION:     

Students will learn how to maximize their earnings, create a budget, plan for major expenditures, save for the future, invest wisely, and keep financial records.  Students will learn about banking, taxes, credit, insurance, the stock market, and retirement accounts. All of these skills are essential for a productive citizenship. This course will give students the opportunity to earn a .5 unit of credit for personal finance.

                                     
QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Missouri State Teacher Certification in – Business
• Teaching experience

• All positions are contingent upon enrollment #'s
• All positions will be using the time clock. 
• Teachers will work on the PD scheduled for Friday, May 31st
