OPEN POSITION: R-III Aspiring Administrator
START DATE: 2024/2025 School Year
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Program designed to provide meaningful professional development and hands-on administrative experience under the guidance of practicing administrators. This program is intended for those who have goals to become instructional leaders in the Lincoln County R-III School District.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in major area of study
- Administrative Missouri Certificate held or eligible, preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills
PARTICIPANTS WILL:
- Attend all monthly meetings, prepared to learn and engage in dialogue.
- Arrange approved shadowing with building principal.
- Participants are required to complete up to 18 hours of shadowing with a building principal
- Attend one (1) Board of Education meeting
- Complete an approved administrative project
- Projects may be building/district related and completed in conjunction with his/her building principal/district administrator.
- Participate in Adaptive Schools Training
